GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 739475
No Support in Wayland-only systems
Last modified: 2019-03-20 11:20:00 UTC
Currently gnome-settings-daemon cant compile in a wayland-only system This is because, for example, g-s-d hard depends on libcanberra-gtk3, which hard depends on X11
There's no wayland support in gnome-settings-daemon yet, so that would be why...
FYI, There is a patch for libcanberra here: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36806

Would be nice to land this trivial cleanup
(In reply to Matthias Clasen from comment #5) > Would be nice to land this trivial cleanup Doesn't apply, and wasn't updated for more than a year.
Actually, this little fixes were already applied in c099442b358567839f5dcdcf0a1fbb8e047eaf26, as part of b7f6fe30bef75513360160fb6eef2290d6403129 and in d41b16b04ba131f6a84459314c94444254260b4a
