Description Joren V 2014-10-23 10:28:56 UTC
When trying to drag a window from my primary workspace to another one the shell crashes and restarts. This makes it impossible (I think) for me to change which workspace a window is on.
I've tried this with extensions on and all off, it doesn't make a difference.
I'm using the version of Gnome 3.14 distributed by Arch Linux (Technically Manjaro Unstable, but the package is the same)
I don't know if any of my other settings are to blame.

To recreate:
 - Log in to Gnome Shell
 - Start new window (I've tried with Chromium and DeaDBeeF)
 - Go to Activities overview
 - Drag window in the direction of the workspace bar

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it.
Can you get us a stack trace? Please see https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/GnomeShell/Debugging for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!

If this is mutter 3.14.0 then it might already have been fixed. I can't reproduce on master

Comment 4 Joren V 2014-10-23 12:49:19 UTC
I've tried it with gdb and attached its output. Seems to be something wrong with the cursor, I'll try it with the default cursor theme to see if that changes anything.
Comment 5 Joren V 2014-10-23 12:52:44 UTC
I've tried it with the default Adwaita cursor theme and it didn't crash. Is it a problem with the cursor theme (Whiteglass)? It worked fine under 3.12...
