Currently the GLib version distributed in cerbero is 2.40, 2.42 has been release since quite some time
now, we should move to it.

It has been tested for linux and android so far.

Just tested for windows too, everything looks fine -- Would be nice if someone could check for mac OS and iOS. otherwize I guess I could just push and hope for the best?

Please also update glib-networking then. There's some implicit relationship between them sometimes :)
