It does not matter if I'm entering a new transaction or just editing an existing one: When I click the "small icon" which would allow me to bring the list of accounts, so I can select one, I am only able to see a ghostly ouline of the  window I'm expecting. 

This started to happened when I upgraded to version 2.6.4 built from git rev 79bdcf1+ on 2014-09-28. 

I've included two screen captures I think will help to understand the problem.
