Description anthony 2014-10-16 23:54:35 UTC
glabels-3 "File : New" causes a following with the following message on the terminal window that it was started from:
Gtk-Message (recursed): GtkDialog mapped without a transient parent. This is discouraged.Aborted

.glabel files can be opened, but anything new causes that crash.

I am using KDE.

Can confirm this on Debian Jessie with i3wm, using both the packaged version 3.0.1-4+b1 and 3.2.0 built from source, same steps to reproduce and error message as Anthony.

Debian lists this bug, too [1]; having two more reports on this issue.

Comment 2 Stefan Held 2014-11-07 23:36:42 UTC
Same on Fedora 21 Beta Gnome Version 3.14.1.

Crashes immediately after selecting new.
Comment 3 Jens Erat 2014-11-08 09:48:41 UTC
Debian includes some patch from git now and resolved the issue, see the bug report link above.
Comment 4 anthony 2014-11-08 11:26:44 UTC
It appears to be fixed now (no more crashing on File->New).
