Description kz 2002-03-07 15:21:13 UTC
Package: nautilus
Severity: normal
Version: 1.1.8
Synopsis: preview for music file freeze nautilus till the full length of music end.
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: Sound

Description:
Description of Problem:
opening music folder as icon view(not music list), hovering open up the
preview of sound.
no wonder why.. just before, nautilus freezed with the preview of
sound.
sound goes until the end and nautilus come back to normal.
furthurmore, it was unexpected action. I think I did not hover enough to
call preview.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. open icon view for music folder.
2. float mouse pointer here and there each.
3.

Actual Results:
sometimes not down.

Expected Results:
onMouseOver preview up.
onMouseOut down.

How often does this happen?
sometimes. I cannot expect.

Additional Information:
I use mpg123-0.59r-10 for contrib of libc6.
and it seems frequently on condition with other sound app like xmms or
gqmpeg.

I'm sorry I can't give more accurate information. :(

I could find an easy way to testify this case.
1. hover on a music file, enough to preview.
2. drag up or down fast.
3. hover out event does not happen, I think. so music goes on.

Hrm. I can't duplicate this... for some reason music view isn't
