Description Vadim Rutkovsky 2014-10-14 11:14:40 UTC
STR:
1. Open Search
2. Select any search clause

Result: tags are not displayed in search field. We should check other projects to see how do they handle TaggedEntry nowadays

I noticed that there's actually a tag there if you look closely. Seems like there's a problem with the background color.

Minimal test application for GdTaggedEntry

I tried building a minimal application that uses gnome-document's libgd (which has tags working properly) but the problem persists. I've attached the source file here.

I'm sure this was working properly when the old search branch was rebased last cycle, so I also tried checking the search branches, without success.
Comment 5 Vadim Rutkovsky 2015-01-19 14:52:03 UTC
This is half-fixed in https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-music/commit/?id=9232f16 - tags are now visible, but need a proper style to show the border.

I'll be looking for a proper style until 3.16 release, so keeping this open.

Also pushed https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-music/commit/?id=47b0642 to gnome-3-14
