Description Allan Day 2014-09-29 15:40:09 UTC
The current standard menu items include "Save Version", "Restore Version...", and "Versions...". (a) They imply an approach to file versioning which isn't great (labour intensive, not integrated with undo/redo), and (b) isn't being consistently used anywhere.

If we want to recommend that applications do something different from the current status quo, it ought to be something forward-looking. These menu items seem to be the opposite.

Either way, they're supposed to be standard menu items, and they're clearly not.
