Description Antonio Roberts 2014-09-24 14:58:43 UTC
Can a function be added to allow a user to run a slideshow without entering full screen mode?
Comment 1 Felix Riemann 2015-02-24 21:23:48 UTC
Can you explain the use case a bit? Is there something you are missing in fullscreen mode?

Generally I think this something that should be implementable using a plugin, as it seems to be a pretty special use case to me. While eog's slideshow timer isn't available through the plugin API, it should be straight-forward to reimplement in a plugin.

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/eog/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
