Description Franziskus Kiefer 2014-09-24 07:45:09 UTC
"-" and "+" are not usable in the quick-add dialogue because the trigger zoom-out and zoom-in.

I'm using Arch x64 using california-git from AUR.

<sigh> This bug actually existed with the keypad +/-/*, but wasn't as noticeable because it's not common to use those when typing text.

I reverted bug #731244 to fix this. Typing with the keypad plus/minus/star is still a problem, but as I said, not as noticeable.

The overall solution requires a bit more work (i.e. disabling the GAction for these keys when a Gtk.Editable has focus) than I'm comfortable doing just before a final release.

California is not under active development anymore and saw its last non-cosmetic code changes in March 2016: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/california/commits/master

Its codebase has been archived in https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/california/issues/1

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of GNOME Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.

You may want to use `gnome-calendar`.
