GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 737167
View and edit cover image metadata.
Last modified: 2018-05-24 18:23:31 UTC
View and edit cover image metadata. Involve a few things. * Port some of the code from the artsearch plugin, notably the embedded and local search * Add viewing the metadata in rb-song-info, and editing. - storing in the file the metadata. * Keep the artsearch plugin to display the art if there is non in the database by scanning the internet. And not making it easy to store the result of artsearch to the file (you know (c) )

I think I'd prefer to have the image displayed on a new tab in the song info dialog, rather than on the basic tab, especially if you're going to add more controls there for searching, manually selecting a new image file, clearing the image if it's wrong, etc.
Perfectly valid concerns. How about we add the tab when it comes to editing and we keep the display here too? This is currently only viewing. iTunes does that, almost.
