Description Branko Grubic (bitlord) 2014-09-23 10:07:03 UTC
Mouse cursor sometimes becomes invisible inside terminal window, which is probably a feature, but when you move the mouse it doesn't reappear again, you need to click. When you start typing it disappears, and when you move the mouse it appears again, I think this is intended behavior, but sometimes it is invisible until you click, if you move it to the top menu bar, tab bar, it appears, but moving it back to terminal part it is hidden.

Which version of vte are you using? On Fedora it would be the vte291 package.

Here f21, vte291-0.38.0-1.fc21.x86_64

yes it looks like that bug

Can this be user disabled? The "I'm typing and the 2px wide mouse cursor is too distracting" argument is silly... I generally keep 10 or 15 terminal windows open and the mouse hiding and reappearing over and over drives me utterly insane.

I've also had issues with the mouse cursor hiding and not re-appearing on the latest archlinux packages.
