I'm not familiar with Requires.private, but I can appreciate how this would be useful.  exiv2 is certainly a private requirement but I'm less sure about glib-2.0 and gobject-2.0.  Since gexiv2.h exposes symbols from those libraries and #includes their header files, shouldn't they be a plain Requires?
