Debian-generated software version info

If a background window is closed, parts of the close animation (mostly the shadow I think) are visible in the foreground. This screencast illustrates what I mean:

http://tiker.net/tmp/window-close.webm

The window that I create using "oi" (an offlineimap process running in an XTerm that exits after a while, if you must now) is put in the background (behind the big shell window). Nonetheless, a trace of it closing is visible in the foreground, which I don't think should be the case.

Version information is attached. This is on Intel Sandy Bridge, if that helps.

Thanks,
Andreas
