Description Matthias Clasen 2014-09-16 13:58:51 UTC
I'm seeing my wayland session crash after a few seconds of running gtk3-widget-factory. It turns out that it gets oom killed (either the shell, or xwayland, or both).

Monitoring /sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/i915_gem_objects reveals objects getting leaked at a fast rate. Specifically, I notice the object count increase for Xwayland with each blink of my gnome-terminal cursor (running with the X backend) and the gnome-shell count is increasing rapidly as long as the progress bar in page1 of gtk3-widget-factory (running with the wayland backend) is animating.

this is with mutter 3.13.91, wayland 1.5.91 and xorg-x11-drv-intel 2.99.916 in F21
