GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 736332
Some multiple-windows apps identified as one-window apps
Last modified: 2014-09-10 12:43:19 UTC
Epiphany, apps with more than one window, with 'New Window' action, identified as ine-window app. In the shell, Ctrl+Click on it will not open more window, and in the context menu I not see 'New Window' item.
(In reply to comment #0) > Epiphany, apps with more than one window, with 'New Window' action, > identified as single-window app That's because epi calls its "New Window" action "new" - it should either use the standard "new-window" name or add "X-GNOME-SingleWindow=false" to its .desktop file.
Created attachment 285749 [details] [review] Rename new window action This needs to be named "new-window" and not "new" if we want GNOME Shell 3.14 to allow the user to open multiple windows from the dock. Yosef, can you test this please?
Review of attachment 285749 [details] [review]: Works fine for me now.
