Description Yosef Or Boczko 2014-08-30 19:29:07 UTC
Some strings, like 'Turn to left', 'Continue', 'Finish!' in the route sidebar
are not translatable, and I not see this strings in the code.
Comment 1 André Klapper 2014-08-31 12:03:32 UTC
=> I18N keyword
Comment 2 Jonas Danielsson 2014-08-31 12:18:44 UTC
These string come from the graphhopper routing service. We send the locale in the request. I know they are translated to italian and spanish, what is your language?
Comment 4 Yosef Or Boczko 2014-08-31 18:32:20 UTC
What?! Are you serious?
You want I18N team to go to this page, to translate in google docs?!
Comment 5 Jonas Danielsson 2014-08-31 18:37:31 UTC
No, I just googled and pasted a link about translations in graphhopper. I dont know how to solve this and was hoping for help. Does anyone know how other projectd handle this? We have the same issue with the geocoding, the name of placed comes from openstreetmap and the translation is done through osm.

I am not trying to be rude. How can we improve this?

I don't think anyone doubts that. I can understand Yosef's frustration as translator here.

I hope that graphopper has a bz/ticket system. So I'll suggest we file a bug there that they should setup a proper mechanism for translators to translate. Yosef, I don't think you need our help for that.
