If I am in the process of selecting a group of messages (ctrl-click/shift-click, etc.) in the summary pane and a new message arrives, the selection is reset.

This is very annoying when one has spent many 10s of seconds, or even several minutes selecting messages only to have it all reset and one has to start over again, and hope it will not happen again.

Thanks for a bug report. My thought is that it's a bug, which should be fixed. :)
