empathy crashing in gnome 3.12 (in fedora20)
Last modified: 2014-08-22 13:34:00 UTC
Hi, I am using gnome 3.12 in fedora20. Empathy is crashing every time I open it: empathy (empathy:3847): folks-WARNING **: backend-store.vala:409: Error preparing Backend 'ofono': No oFono object manager running, so the oFono backend will be inactive. Either oFono isn’t installed or the service can’t be started. Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it. Can you get us a stack trace (with debugging symbols installed)? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!
It's a Fedora regression in the Zeitgeist package. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1130769
