Description dan.hensley 2002-03-04 23:38:45 UTC
When I view a directory containing MP3's and play one of them, when it is
done playing Nautilus hangs. It actually hangs the whole system. I have
to telnet or ssh in from a different machine and run nautilus-clean.sh to
get my system back. This problem does not exist with esound 0.2.22.

I think this is a dup of the bug I fixed a while back.
Please reopen if it is still a problem.

I've got esound 0.2.28, and the problem persists. I doubt it's
related specifically to esound, although according to my original
report it may be. I can try downgrading again to see. I suspect one
of the other libraries (gconf, bonobo, etc.) has exposed the bug.
Nautilus 1.0.x desperately needs a refresh to be compatible with the
latest Mozilla and other dependencies--I can't even compile 1.0.6
right now to try to track this bug down. I'm sure many people (my
included) will not be able to upgrade to Gnome 2 and the new Nautilus
for a while.

music-view is going to be replaced by nautilus-media, effectively
making this bug irrelevant. So I am closing it.
