Description Carlos Soriano 2014-08-10 17:32:51 UTC
Seems the control center doesn't allow to choose a weak password as a password for a new created user.
Not having a warning and having a check (v) on the re-enter password entry doesn't help to give the user feedback why they can't add the new user.

Since the gnome-initial-setup allows weak passwords, and a study from past year for gnome-initial-setup (can't find citation now) shown that password choose annoy users, I would simply allow weak passwords with a warning.

g-i-s also doesn't allow setting weak passwords (just tested it with g-i-s master) and I don't think it is good to allow weak passwords from the security reasons...

There is check sign on the verify entry, but on the new password entry isn't. However password hint could be more descriptive. This seems like designer's issue, Allan could you look at please?
