GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 734336
When starting, automatically play previous radio station from last session
Last modified: 2018-05-24 18:19:36 UTC
Hello, I mainly use rhythmbox to listen to internet radio. Each time that I launch rhythmbox, I got into the music part, and I have to clic on the radio pannel, browse the internet radio and clic on my favorite one. Could we imagine, that somehow the context of this application is stored when closing the application and recharged when launching it back. Thanks in advance cED
I'm not a Rhythmbox developer, but I'd be highly annoyed and surprised if I started an application which is for managing your sound library, and it automatically started playing something. It's unexpected behavior and I'm not aware of any mobile or desktop music player who does that. Proposing WONTFIX.
personal preference - again I dont support this. This sort of request could be handled via an external plugin The functionality sounds similar to this external plugin - http://owaislone.org/blog/remember-the-rhythm/ Or you can force rhythmbox to play a URI on startup: - http://askubuntu.com/questions/33406/how-can-i-make-rhythmbox-start-playing-a-radio-stream-as-i-log-on
