I just upgraded to gnome 3.12 from 3.10 and rb became laggy afterwards. It takes more than 1 min to load the library and the processes gnome-shell and dbus-daemon shows very high cpu consumption during those 1 minutes. I disabled all the plugins and it did not make any difference.

I tried this on a newly created user account as well and it was the same situation. It looks like something got broken with the gnome 3.12?

BTW, this is rb 3.0.3 and downgrading did not help either!

Also, making any db operations like choosing an artist takes almost same amount of time to show the albus and tracks from that artist. Same processes consuming high amount of cpu...

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be solved in the next software version. You may want to check for a software upgrade.
