Description carnifex03 2014-07-19 14:55:36 UTC
Hi there,

I am experiencing problems with the chart editor of gnumeric 1.12.17 in Windows. When I save a tab sheet with a chart on it containing a major grid, close it and re-open it the next time I start gnumeric, the major grid is gone. It is still displayed in the list of features of my chart in the editor, but not actually displayed in the chart itself unless I remove the major grid and add the feature again.

Not Windows specific, looks like an auto field issue.
Comment 2 Morten Welinder 2014-07-19 16:32:43 UTC
What file format?
Comment 3 Jean Bréfort 2014-07-19 16:33:53 UTC
gnumeric

Thanks for your effort! Greatly appreciated!
Comment 6 carnifex03 2014-07-25 14:38:20 UTC
I think this problem also occurs for changes on the line thickness in graphs. I seem to be experiencing the loss of configuration on axis and line definitions in terms of line thickness for every restart of gnumeric...
Comment 7 Jean Bréfort 2014-07-25 14:50:51 UTC
It's actually another issue, the width is not saved.
Comment 8 Jean Bréfort 2014-07-25 16:19:40 UTC
Line width issue fixed, there might be a few others left.
Comment 9 Morten Welinder 2014-07-25 16:42:30 UTC
Note: the problem from comment #6 appears to have been a gui issue, if I
read the patch right.
Comment 10 Jean Bréfort 2014-07-25 16:47:32 UTC
Yes, seems that we might have a few auto fields not correctly updated after a change.
