GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 733352
warning dialogue to avoid losing conditional format-settings
Last modified: 2014-07-31 08:09:21 UTC
Created attachment 281088 [details] No settings are added, although conditions and formats are defined. Hi, as conditional cell-formats are composed from possibly many definitions, we do not only have to confirm our choices but must not forget to *add* each conditional format definition to the list of settings for a currently selected range. I do not know about you or maybe you do this more often than me... but I tend to forget hitting the *Add* button quite frequently. Could you please discuss the possibility to create a warning dialogue which demands (or can be avoided at the user's choice) a confirmation upon closing an *empty* list of format-definitions? Alternatively warn whenever a definition has not been *added* to the current list and the user hits “Close”anyway. Screen-shot of a situation, that annoys me.
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
