Workaround At Makefile.in, add the line 633 of this set of lines: 632 for subdir in $$list; do \ 633 [ $$subdir == "docs" ] && continue; \ 634 echo "Making $$target in $$subdir"; \
What's the actual error message (if you use --disable-silent-rules )?

Hi Alexandre, Thanks for having taken the time to fill out this bug report. After a fresh upgrade of a Ubuntu 12.04 LTS VM, I have run following commands : pierre@vubuntu12:~$ tar -xzvf host/data/Downloads/nautilus-actions/nautilus-actions-3.2.3.tar.gz pierre@vubuntu12:~$ cd nautilus-actions-3.2.3 pierre@vubuntu12:~/nautilus-actions-3.2.3$ ./configure Nautilus-Actions 3.2.3 configuration summary: Installation prefix /usr/local Build system type x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu Nautilus extensions directory /usr/lib/nautilus/extensions-3.0 Gtk+ version Gtk+ 3.0 Default I/O provider na-desktop Enable deprecated functions no GConf enabled yes GConf schemas installation enabled in $(sysconfdir)/gconf/schemas Maintainer mode disabled API Reference generation disabled HTML User's Manuals generation disabled PDF User's Manuals generation disabled pierre@vubuntu12:~/nautilus-actions-3.2.3$ make [...] Making all in docs make[1]: Entering directory `/home/pierre/nautilus-actions-3.2.3/docs' Making all in nact make[2]: Entering directory `/home/pierre/nautilus-actions-3.2.3/docs/nact' make[2]: Nothing to be done for `all'. make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/pierre/nautilus-actions-3.2.3/docs/nact' Making all in reference make[2]: Entering directory `/home/pierre/nautilus-actions-3.2.3/docs/reference' make[2]: Nothing to be done for `all'. make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/pierre/nautilus-actions-3.2.3/docs/reference' make[2]: Entering directory `/home/pierre/nautilus-actions-3.2.3/docs' make[2]: Nothing to be done for `all-am'. make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/pierre/nautilus-actions-3.2.3/docs' make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/pierre/nautilus-actions-3.2.3/docs' Making all in tools make[1]: Entering directory `/home/pierre/nautilus-actions-3.2.3/tools' CC check-header.o CCLD check-header make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/pierre/nautilus-actions-3.2.3/tools' make[1]: Entering directory `/home/pierre/nautilus-actions-3.2.3' make[1]: Nothing to be done for `all-am'. make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/pierre/nautilus-actions-3.2.3' pierre@vubuntu12:~/nautilus-actions-3.2.3$ And the result is OK. Pierre, sorry. Today I am using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and the HDD Maxtor of 80 GB had bad blocks. It was "repaired" with SeaTools for DOS and now it is being experienced.
