Description Michael Catanzaro 2014-06-29 00:46:19 UTC
The user help is so outdated that no help would be better than confusing users with outdated help. I'd like to remove or hide it; would this be OK?
Comment 1 André Klapper 2014-06-29 10:51:56 UTC
Would https://help.gnome.org/users/gnome-packagekit/stable/ get superseded by the 'gnome-software' help anyway? See https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-doc-list/2014-June/msg00006.html
Comment 2 Michael Catanzaro 2014-06-29 16:48:49 UTC
No it won't; gnome-software is completely separate from gnome-packagekit. (gnome-packagekit is a collection of apps, of which gpk-application and gpk-update-viewer are the major ones, and only gpk-application offers that user help.) gnome-software is much more user-friendly but much less powerful, and so gpk-application is here to stay for the foreseeable future.

I can't post my patch to remove the user help for review because it exceeds the Bugzilla attachment size limit, so I'm just going to push it. Feel free to revert if it breaks something.
