( selection tools ) 
Sometimes im using a lot the selection tools (lasso, rectangle, circle, color selection, ect.)
Within 1h of working, gimp loses the ability to display selections ( 'running ants' ).
The selection is there, (see the selections tab, dock) and the checkmark is set, but i cant see anymore the running ants. 
That makes hard to understand what is and what isnt select right away.
Sorry if i made a duplicate, but i cant find my previous post anymore.
