Description Egmont Koblinger 2014-06-21 22:58:10 UTC
In Firefox and Chrome, Alt+{1..8} switch to the 1st..8th tab, whereas Alt+9 switches to the last tab. I can't tell why but I really like this behavior. If g-t had a configurable "Switch to Last Tab" action, users could set this behavior. Maybe the default could also be changed.

Ok to add a 'switch-to-last-tab' action.
Comment 2 Egmont Koblinger 2014-08-16 17:34:36 UTC
I started working on this a while ago but displaying the shortcut under the Tab menu, or handling the case when there are < 9 tabs and hence the last tab has two shortcuts seemed really nontrivial, so I gave up on this for now. I might come back one day and try again.

Why is this RESOLVED FIXED if it wasn't implemented? I came to Bugzilla to request this exact same feature.
Comment 4 Egmont Koblinger 2017-11-21 20:13:19 UTC
Because it was fixed along with bug 745329 in commit 0820b3853 :) Available for testing in unstable version 3.27.1 or git, will be released as stable in 3.28 next March.
