shortly after gnome desktop is loaded i get flickering - it actually seems as if gnome-shell cannot determine the correct position of the running/favourite apps panel. after restart the situation is stabilized for a short while, then it reappears. a working workaround is to click the all-apps icons. when the situation is back normal, gnome-panel seems to be off-center though.

i am using arch linux 32bit with nvidia binary blob drivers.
