Description foss.freedom 2014-06-12 23:11:03 UTC
Looking at rb_shell.c, the add_widget method simply adds the next widget to the box for each UILocation.

Whilst this makes sense for the Left and Right Sidebars - widgets are added vertically, this doesnt work for the Main_Top and Main_Bottom UILocations.

I have added my new RB plugin "rhythmbox-spectrum" to the Main_Bottom UILocation. I also would like to add my CoverArt Browser plugin toolbar similarly to this bottom location - but the add_widget adds new widgets vertically.

Since the UI Boxes themselves are private I cannot attach and call the set_orientation method.

Thus a request - for the boxes created for Main_Top and Main_Bottom, please can they be constructed to allow packing left-to-right rather than top-to-bottom?
