In https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=675132 , we have implemented keyframe detection for h264 streams, allowing for garbage-free accurate seeking.

It would be nice to implement a scan function for mpeg2 streams too, following the model of scan_keyframe_h264.
