Redundancy

Currently the titles are formatted like a normal text with no separation and they appear twice; when you edit then appear on canvas and on the headerbar; when you browse they appear inside the thumbnail and below it. This is not cool.

while browsing: do you mean only showing a frame with note content, or do you mean formatting title?

About the header bar: detached notes should keep current behavior, first row is window title - but detached note are probably not the most common. What do you suggest about main window?

Either one of them is fine provided it's done well. But currently it's showing both and both aren't good-looking; the in-frame title isn't formatted to look like a title and the bottom one wastes space.

I suggest making a prominent place for the title inside the canvas so users know that it's a title, because sometimes notes don't have titles but Bijiben takes the first line and use it which is bad and may not always be what users want. It's ok if a note is title-less. :)

I've tried to address those issue some time ago but got distracted but here's what I mean: https://plus.google.com/101681698460010159459/posts/5Tsyk5u2ybw

Please feel free to ignore what you think are out of this project's scope. ;)

I think the main point is that the note title shouldn't be displayed twice - which I agree with.

Yes! We have discussed this before - see bug 711127.

I like the title treatment here. One thought: the title in the notes grid looks like it is editable. (Could be a useful feature, but would need more work.) If this can't be implemented, maybe change the title to appear as part of the thumbnail - at the top, but bigger and in bold.

New titles/styles

Sorry for taking so long. I've made it but forgot to export it. :P

I've borrowed the way Google Keep treats short notes and added proper title to the top.
