Description jkang 2014-06-10 14:15:35 UTC
As seen in the attachment .png the text in the dropdown bar adjacent to "Caps Lock Key Behaviour" continues out of the box. When opening the dropdown bar, the text is still out of box and cannot be read fully. Thus in some cases it is not possible to see what is actually being done.

Hi Jie,

I cannot see the attachment, did you forget to enclose it?

Created attachment 286845 [details]
Picture for reference

When expanding the list, the ellipses remain and the full text cannot be read. As well, no tooltip appears with the full text.

Hello,

I must have forgotten :( My apologies.

Thanks,

This is true of a bunch of sections under Typing. "Using space key to input non-breakable space character" has seven options that all appear as "Non-breakable space at..." and eight that appear as "Zero-width non-joiner character a...".

This pretty much makes the option completely useless. I'd _like_ to assign _something_ that would produce a non-breakable space character, but I'd really rather not do it at random, which seems to be my only current option.

If you can't expand the width of these widgets dynamically or something (which would also address similar issues that have been raised with other-language text), then hovertext/tooltip seems like a reasonable (and necessary) solution.
