Description Christian Fredrik Kalager Schaller 2014-05-30 09:56:48 UTC
Wim just re-added video/x-xvid for the libav mpeg4 encoder, but pbutils doesn't contain a human readable string anymore for that codec.
Comment 1 Tim-Philipp Müller 2014-05-30 10:07:04 UTC
Couldn't we just have added a flavour string or something to the normal mpeg4 video caps?

Not that it makes a difference to pbutils of course, just sayin'..
Comment 2 Christian Fredrik Kalager Schaller 2014-05-30 11:17:11 UTC
I am not sure why Wim choose to implement it exactly this way. I assume it was because it was easier.
Comment 3 Christian Fredrik Kalager Schaller 2014-06-26 13:00:32 UTC
ok, since xvid is gone again, I am closing this bug as invalid.
