Description Jim Nelson 2014-05-28 21:28:27 UTC
I just replied to a message in the middle of a conversation. I adjusted the window so I could see a portion of the prior message while typing. As I typed I reached the end of the visible portion of the edit window and my cursor moved out of the conversation viewport.

This is a little tricky, but I think the viewport should move with the composer's cursor as the user is typing. That is to say, when the user types, they they type should always be visible in the viewport.

I just created bug #730955 to act as an umbrella for scrolling issues. I don't want a solution for this one to interfere with a solution to another facet of the problem.
