Description Allan Day 2014-05-24 11:13:14 UTC
Under GNOME 3.12, Geary's toolbar buttons are too big. This gives an inconsistent appearance from other applications, and leaves the UI looking a bit unbalanced.

Toolbar buttons in Adwaita should be 35px tall (34px in appearance, plus 1px for the bezel on the bottom edge). Icon buttons should be 34px wide. By my measurements, the buttons are actually 41px wide and 42px tall.

It's possible that this is related to bug #713478. Currently, Geary is "faking" the pill toolbar, but GTK 3.10 will provide this natively. Have you tried the gtk-3.10 branch to see if that fixes things?
Comment 2 Yosef Or Boczko 2014-05-24 19:08:07 UTC
It exactly bug #713478 (maybe to make this bug duplicate of 713478?).
Why we not merge the gtk-3.10 branch to master?
Comment 3 Jim Nelson 2014-05-27 22:25:42 UTC
I'm prepping the merge of gtk-3.10 into master as we speak.
