None of my regular keys are working.  So, many letters and number simply do not show up.  Example: if I want to export a jpg, the "j" an the "g" show up but th "p" button only calls up the perspective tool.  All I can think is I did something wrong at installation.  

Sorry to botehr over a small thing like this but it slowed down some of my work this morning!

What version of GIMP is this? This is a long fixed issue. Please get
the latest 2.8.10 DMG and report back.
