GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 730402
time reversed with RTL locale and LTR language
Last modified: 2014-05-20 18:30:14 UTC
When Gnome language set as English but locale ("Formats") as Israel the clock on the top desktop bar is reversed. For example. instead of 10:25 the clock on the top bar will show 25:10. The rest of the date string will appear as it supposed to. I guess the colon is separating the digits to two sub strings instead of keeping the time as one string. Tested with gnome-shell 3.12.2 (on Arch Linux).
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=726232 should fix this.
I tested this now, and the patch in bug 726232 really fix this bug (and not affect on RTL locale).
Great, I hope that the fix for 726232 will be merge soon (target 3.12.x or 3.14 ?). I'll keep the decision on status (duplicate) for the developers.
