GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 729937
ReplayGain causes criticals when track changes
Last modified: 2018-05-24 18:15:11 UTC
Created attachment 276304 [details] backtrace When using Rhythmbox with the ReplayGain plugin enabled I get a critical every time the track changes on its own (i.e., the previous track ends; I don't manually switch the track): (rhythmbox:2782): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_segment_to_stream_time: assertion 'segment->format == format' failed Rhythmbox will skip the track and resume from the next one, which doesn't trigger the critical. Once that track finishes, the cycle repeats so if I'm attempting to listen to something in order I only hear every other track. Backtrace is attached. This is with F20 + hughsie's GNOME 3.12 COPR.
Duplicated on Gentoo amd64: gnome-3.10, rhythmbox-3.0.2, gstreamer-1.2.3
Created attachment 281072 [details] output of `GST_DEBUG=2 rhythmbox --debug` Additional note: I was able to reproduce this only when replay gain was set to a negative value. Setting to a positive value does not reproduce for me. See attached output of `GST_DEBUG=2 rhythmbox --debug`
