Description Martin Meyer 2014-04-29 14:43:17 UTC
I periodically get prompted to re-enter passwords for my various online accounts. The problem I have is when I was actively typing somewhere and the password dialog starts stealing my input. I *always* press escape when something frustrates me by disrupting my typing, and I don't always realize what it wanted me to authenticate to. This leads to more frustration later when I realize I haven't been signed in to my jabber account for 2 hours.

Could we delay the system modal password prompt until the keyboard has been inactive for a short timeout? This will prevent me simply pressing escape automatically, which I always do in this situation.
