Screenshot showing unexpected sort order

When opening a new image, clicking the 'Sort by name' option sorts incorrectly, as per the screenshot.

I would expect all files named Screen Shot 2014-04-28 to be grouped together, but they are out of order.

It is probably more of a GTK+ bug. Does this also happen in other GTK+ 2 app which you may have installed?
Comment 2 Steve 2014-04-30 10:46:25 UTC
I'm not sure I have any other GTK+ 2 apps installed on my machine.
Do you know any that I could try?
Comment 3 Jehan 2014-04-30 10:58:28 UTC
I think MyPaint's current release uses GTK+2 too: http://mypaint.intilinux.com/
You could try it and open the same directory to check the order there.

In any case, I'm pretty sure any such ordering code in file dialogs is dealt by GTK+, not by GIMP. So I will move the bug to GTK+ project. If I'm wrong, just send it back to GIMP.
