Description Pacho Ramos 2014-04-27 08:21:34 UTC
Lots of times I get upset because I am writing something on a maximized terminal and the line gets hidden by a notification. Probably letting some apps to change the place notifications are shown would be too hard but, how about at least letting us to configure the place for showing notifications? (for example on top instead of button)

Thanks

The plan is to not pop up directly under the pointer (see bug 652752), I guess this should be extended to typing. This looks like a much friendlier approach than an option to cover toolbars/menubars instead :-)
(We also don't want a disconnection between notifications and message tray, so the option would require an entire alternative message tray design)
