Description Sean Davis 2014-04-20 21:30:06 UTC
Greetings,

I am the developer of MenuLibre (based strongly on Alacarte), and a number of users are getting the following output in both Alacarte and MenuLibre.

ERROR:/build/buildd/gnome-menus-3.10.1/./libmenu/gmenu-tree.c:4022:preprocess_layout_info: assertion failed: (!directory->preprocessed)

Can you suggest what might cause this issue, or how we can further debug the issue? Please see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/menulibre/+bug/1307729

Can you reproduce it yourself?
Comment 2 André Klapper 2021-05-25 12:45:42 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-menus/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
