Description Ángel 2014-04-15 20:06:54 UTC
It should be possible to open a single email in evolution. That is, given a rfc5322 file, open a window showing its contents.
You don't even need a configured identity.

Currently, your only workaround is to manually put it into an existing folder.

The most common offender are probably email with other emails attached.

The related feature of opening a mbox provides a for importing (although the ability of opening without importing would also be nice there. The preview box is too limited).

Expected location for the new action:
 - Open a file given as a command line parameter
 - Inside File menu (like thunderbird), launching a GtkFileSelection
