Galeon starts with blank white screen, without Menubar, Toolbar, etc. When
the toolbar is activated via right click, etc. it is emptyand only a few
pix wide. This may well be a duplicate of bug #133480, etc. since it only
happens when gconf2 is installed. However:
1) galeon-config-tool --clean-schemas or something similar doesn't help.
2) LANG=C galeon doesn't work either.
3) I get the following error messages at the prompt:

Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkcolor.c: line 546 (gdk_color_parse): assertion
`spec != NULL' failed.

If this is really a gconf2 problem: When is a gnome2/gconf2 version of
galeon to be expected?

Sort of curious about this one myself, Yaneti, as it seems like a big
blocker for some testers.

yeah this is the same gconf 1 <-> 2 problem that we have 
There is still no clear solution afaik, except killing gconfd-2
starting manually gconfd-1
