It is also a good idea to add "check-news" to AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE, as then the first few lines of the NEWS file are matched against the version in configure.ac when releasing:

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the reports. Right now I can't log into my system. Do you happen to know of a Fedora 20 bug for Lenovo x200 wacom tablets that causes the boot screen with the Fedora logo to load twice and get stuck the second time?

I emailed about the Wacom problem privately (sorry, I was not of much help). Thanks for merging the NEWS changes, it looks good now.
