Reassigning to the default owner of the component, nautilus-maint@bugzilla.gnome.org.

Comment 1 Rodd Clarkson 2002-02-26 03:57:44 UTC
Added Keyword GNOME2.

After confirming this bug I did some testing and noticed the
following. The page itself loads as View as GtkHTML. The page it
links to (http://www.kde.org/screenshots/large/kde2final_4.jpg) is
actually a JPG and loads into Nautilus (after restarting) but loads as
View as EOG Image.

Try this. Load a page that it html, then load a JPG. Or vice versa.
It doesn't matter if the page or image is on the web or local HDD.
Also, it works switching from GIFs to Web Pages. It appears to be
difficulty switching between View as GtkHTML and other View As
options. Nautilus will also crash viewing a webpage, and then
clicking the back button to go back to the original file view.

In fact doing a little more testing, nautilus-gtkhtml seems to be
extremely unstable and that this bug should be under nautilus-gtkhtml
and not nautilus.

Comment 2 Rodd Clarkson 2002-02-26 03:59:51 UTC
changed to View as Web Page
Comment 3 Rodd Clarkson 2002-02-26 04:05:55 UTC
Changed Summary to "Crash switching to or from View as GtkHTML" as it
better describes that actual bug being reported.
