Description Michael Catanzaro 2014-02-26 03:31:50 UTC
The new address bar is nice, but makes it inconvenient to access the Refresh button. If I want to refresh the current page, then I necessarily do not want to edit the current URL, so it does not make sense that I have to click to make the address bar editable to get to refresh.

One solution would be to split Refresh out from the address bar and instead pack it next to New Tab in the header bar. (That would incidentally knock out Bug #689536 as well.)

I agree, I have proposed several times to move the stop/refresh button to the toolbar like in app mode.

I think we discussed on this with mccan more than one time,
and we decided do not move the reload button from the location
bar to the header bar.
