Description Bas 2014-02-25 20:43:44 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

1. Enable caret tracking:
$ gsettings set 'org.gnome.desktop.a11y.magnifier' 'caret-tracking' 'centered'

2. Run the magnifier application.

3. Run Firefox.

4. Type something in the address bar.

Expected result:
The magnifier follows the caret. The caret remains in the center of the magnified screen area.

Actual result:
The magnifier doesn't follow the caret. The caret eventually leaves the magnified screen area and becomes invisible for the user.

Focus & caret tracking was suddenly working in Firefox and LibreOffice when I booted my Fedora 20 system today!
I don't know exactly why, but the following may have helped:

1. I had the Gnome magnifier turned on when I shutdown Fedora. I noticed that the magnifier turned on immediately when I logged in today.
2. $ gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.interface toolkit-accessibility -> true
3. Fedora updated my system; gnome-shell is now at 3.10.3-8.fc20.x86_64
